At Delphi Rise, we know that recovery can’t begin when basic needs go unmet. No one can focus on treatment, stability, or personal growth when they are hungry, cold, or without essential supplies. That’s why our Pantry Program exists. We don’t just provide food, but we remove barriers that keep people from taking the next step in their journey.

Many of the individuals we serve are struggling with substance use but may not yet be ready for formal treatment. Peer Advocates—staff with lived experience—run the pantry, taking the time to meet with every client, learn about their needs, and provide support in a way that builds trust and connection.

More Than Food

Delphi Rise Pantry Program

More Than Just a Pantry

Food insecurity is often just one piece of a larger challenge. That’s why we go beyond simply providing food. We offer:

  • Peer Support – A welcoming space where clients receive guidance and encouragement from people who truly understand their struggles.
  • Resource Navigation – Connecting individuals to housing, healthcare, employment, and other essential services to support long-term stability.
  • Cooking Classes – Helping clients build confidence in the kitchen and learn how to prepare healthy, affordable meals.
  • Holiday Care Packages – Thoughtfully assembled with seasonal foods and essentials to bring comfort and joy.
  • Public Market Food Vouchers – Clients meet with a Peer Advocate at the Public Market to receive fresh food of their choice.

Our Partnership with the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation

We are deeply grateful to the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation for their generous support in helping us launch our Pantry Program in 2024. Their $300,000 grant for 2025-2026 ensures that individuals and families in our community have access to essential food and supplies. This funding allows us to stock our shelves, provide peer support services, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need us most.

Our Partnership with the Reentry Association of Western NY

We are also grateful to the Reentry Association of Western NY (RAWNY) for their support in expanding our Pantry Program to serve individuals receiving their services. Their funding enables us to provide nutritious food, essential supplies, and peer support services tailored to the unique needs of those transitioning from incarceration. Through this partnership, we can help returning citizens stabilize, rebuild, and move forward with dignity and support.
